Holy Coldness, Batman!!!

I HATE cold weather. I would never survive in the North, because I am freakin cold all winter. And for some reason, Atlanta is having a colder than normal winter. AND I DON'T LIKE IT!!! When it is cold, it's hard to get out of my warm bed in the mornings. When it is cold, I stay cold ALL day because my room is on the end of the building by the most used door. You know, the door that EVERYONE uses to go to either the gym, the playground or one of our many trailers (portable classrooms to be PC). So, it's cold all the time. :( BRRRRRR....

And now, they are talking about bad weather tonight. WHICH, if there is bad enough weather, school will be canceled, and then we'll have to make it up on February 19. NOT cool!

Donations?

Have I mentioned that my crazy husband is training for a triathalon? Well, he is... He is training for the St. Anthony's Triathalon with Team In Training. Team In Training raises money for the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society. The triathalon takes place in April, in St. Pete's, Florida! Below is the link to the website, if you would like to donate...

In May, I will be participating in the South's largest Relay For Life. If you have never heard of it, it's a 24 hour walkathon that raises money for the American Cancer Society. The link to my website is listed below also.

Overwhelmed

Okay, so now, I am overwhelmed with all that is going on and all that I have to do. I started my class last Monday, which seems like it's going to be okay. But, it's a lot of reading and it seems a lot of busy work (I guess most classes are like that). I even have to read a best-selling political book. I've narrowed it down to two... "The World Is Flat" or "Godless". I am thinking that my professor is liberal, so I am afraid if I read "Godless" I might be persecuted, per se. Don't know though.

Also, you might be wondering if we got started on the painting last week. That would be a negative ghost writer. We ran a bunch of errands, Chris DID build me some shelves for our kitchen cabinets. :D AND I planted bulbs. I know, a little late, but better late than never. It was such a nice day and I needed to get them in the ground.

So, today, however, we are going to get started on the living room/family room/whatever you want to call it. Here are the before pics..

New Years Resolutions and Happiness!

Well, we've been back in school since Wednesday (with kids). We've had almost a full week of 2007 and things are super. As much as I dreaded going back to school, it honestly wasn't that bad. I feel very good about how school is going. I am looking forward to new beginnings... starting graduate school, starting to work on remodeling our bathroom.... finishing painting the house and decorating, baking, eating healthy... so many things!

Below are pictures of what we've done so far, which is paint the kitchen. As you can see, we have some pictures to hang, and we need a mirror to go over the buffet. This weekend, we're working on painting our family room and hallway.
